Kia Ora everyone, today we made Anzac cookies. Maddy and I were making Anzac cookies together via Facetime. We waited for them to cook together. It was a lot of fun.
Hi Anna, wow, baking ANZAC cookies with a friend virtually. What a fabulous idea! I wanted to make some ANZAC biscuits with apricot bits in them but I have been so busy with my grandaughter, while her mum works from our home, that my cookies never got made. My wee grandaufgter is only 15 months old. I didn't think that trying to bake with her would go so well. She would have eaten all the raw cookie dough! Did you sneak some before it got on the oven tray? Now we are in term two and working from home, it would be great to see and hear about some of the online work you have been doing. Perhaps a story you have written or an activity you particularly enjoyed. Stay safe and well in your bubble and we will see you when we are all back at school again.
Hi Mrs Paterson how is you lock down? i thought she would eat some cookie dough too. I did not eat some before it got cooked but they where yummy.Thank you for commenting on my blog have a good rest of lock down.
What a wonderful way to connect with your friends during our time away from school - thanks for sharing this Anna! You and Maddy did a great job to make those ANZAC cookies...together but apart! Perhaps you could write a blog that gives other people the recipe to try for themselves? Keep blogging Anna, it's a lovely way to share learning.
That's a great way to connect with friends, Anna. I loved the picture of you both eating your "double biscuits" together. My mum's recipe makes lovely chewy biscuits that spread like that, but mine don't seem to come out the same - just still the shape of the spoon I used to put them on the tray! Do you have a secret for making them thin and chewy? They look delicious.
Hi my name is Yousuf from Waikowhai Primary School. I liked how you add some pictures of you making the biscuits. maybe next time you could add some writing and you could've wrote how you made the biscuits to. This made me think when I made biscuits at school to. You could check my blog http://wpsyousufs.blogspot.com/2018/01/welcome.html#comment-form blog u later.
